Surpassing their peers, 23 new winners debuted among the elite ranks of Greater China’s travel trade
industry, taking home the signature Hermes trophy home for the first time. They include organisations like
Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, and Wanda Hotels and Resorts that have successfully claimed the “Best Global
Hotel Chain” and “Best Local Hotel Chain Operating in Greater China” titles respectively – awards that were
previously dominated by long-time defenders.

16th April 2015Running into its auspicious 8th year, TTG China Travel Awards 2015 culminates on this night in celebration of the 59 winners who represent the best and brightest in the Greater China travel trade industry.
Surpassing their peers and industry standards, 26 winners took home the signature Hermes trophy for the
first time. Debuting as the best in the Greater China travel trade industry, the roll-call of inaugural winners
were most evident across the Airline Awards, Individual Hotel Awards (in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou,
Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macau), Hotel Awards in Other Regions in China and the Resort Hotel Awards.
New winners like China Eastern Airlines and Sheraton Macao Hotel, Cotai have successfully claimed titles
that were dominated by long-time winners, taking home the honor of Best China Airlines and Best Meetings
and Conventions Hotel in Macau respectively.

The 5th TTG China Travel Awards: A Parade Of Both Established And Newly Lauded Winners.
19 April 201224 out of 60 travel trade organisations in Greater China were first-time winners at the 5th Annual TTG China Travel Awards 2012 Ceremony and Gala Dinner on the 19th of April 2012, while 11 organisations returned to claim their award for the fifth year running.
A total of 38,000 votes were cast between January and March by readers of the two TTG Travel Trade
Publishing titles dedicated to the Greater China region: TTG China and TTG-BTmice China. Industry
professionals like travel consultants, tour operators, and destination management companies cast their
votes by naming their organisation of choice for each award title on print and online forms.
4th TTG China Travel Awards Recognises Both Big And Small In China’S Travel Trade Industry
14 April 2011The 2011 TTG China Travel Awards features a brand new category: Best Hotels in Other Regions Within China – and within it, six new awards. Winners in this category include smaller and less-publicized Chinese cities such as Chongqing, Guilin and Dalian.
This addition recognises the increasing popularity of these secondary cities among international
tourists. According to TTG China, both international and domestic visitorship to second-tier cities
like Zhongshan, Wuhan, Wuxi and Xiamen, rose sharply by over 30% as compared to 2009. This
percentage is much higher than the 23% average growth of visitors in China.
